भारत और जर्मनी के बीच Defence Cooperation अब सिर्फ diplomatic relation तक सीमित नहीं रहा। पिछले कुछ महीनों में दोनों देशों ने defence manufacturing, submarine technology, AI-enabled drones और Indo-Pacific security जैसे कई strategic sectors में partnership बढ़ाई है। यही वजह है कि आज “India Germany Defence Ties” global geopolitics में एक बड़ा topic बन चुका है।

8 Billion Dollar Submarine Deal क्यों है इतना महत्वपूर्ण?
भारत और जर्मनी के बीच सबसे ज्यादा चर्चा Project-75(I) submarine deal को लेकर हो रही है। यह करीब 8 billion dollar का defence agreement माना जा रहा है।
इस deal में German company TKMS और भारत की Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders मिलकर advanced submarines बनाएंगी। इससे भारत को कई बड़े फायदे मिल सकते हैं:
- Indian Navy की ताकत बढ़ेगी
- China के maritime influence का जवाब मिलेगा
- “Make in India” defence manufacturing को boost मिलेगा

Germany के Defence Minister ने भी संकेत दिया है कि यह deal जल्द final हो सकती है।

Germany अब Indo-Pacific region में अपनी presence बढ़ाना चाहता है। दूसरी तरफ भारत पहले से इस region में एक major power है। इसलिए maritime security और naval cooperation दोनों देशों के लिए बेहद जरूरी बन गया है।

- Germany ने MILAN naval exercise में भाग लिया
- Tarang Shakti air exercise में interest दिखाया
- Indo-Pacific consultation mechanism शुरू किया गया
यह partnership सिर्फ defence तक सीमित नहीं है, बल्कि regional stability और supply-chain security से भी जुड़ी हुई है।
क्या भारत Russia पर Dependence कम कर रहा है?
कई experts मानते हैं कि भारत अब defence imports को diversify करना चाहता है। अभी तक भारत काफी हद तक Russian weapons पर dependent रहा है, लेकिन अब France, US और Germany जैसे देशों के साथ partnerships बढ़ाई जा रही हैं।
Germany के साथ cooperation बढ़ने का मतलब है:
